On 4/23, SCANDAL's 18th single 『Departure』 went on sale.
It's a song that we were able to make into a CD after we put up the studio live video on 3/3 and received many requests from you guys to make it into a CD.
Everyone, thank you so much!
I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart about being able to send the song out like this.
It was a story I wrote that came to mind when I saw the blooming sakura trees in a nearby neighborhood shopping district's park.
For the title, I think we were able to start off a new departure by releasing this song. There are many graduations and departures in normal days that go by, and also many timings where you can take one step forward by just a small thing. So that we won't miss out on that, SCANDAL too wants to run swiftly!
I hope it'll be a new departure song for you guys too! I hope it reaches many people!

For the B-side 『Rainy』, the 4 of us entered the studio and created this song with the thought of "Let's do a song where we can get everyone hyped up at a live!"
We created this with many points such as wanting to sing this together with everyone who always comes to our lives, and wanting everyone to raise their fists☆
The lyrics are written by RINA.
Please take note that the atmosphere of the lyrics is different from RINA's usual ones☆
The feeling of it piercing your heart is delightful（＾Ｏ＾☆♪！


Other than our June arena performances we have all kinds of projects planned, so please look forward to them!!
