Being a band means
Theme：RINA

We were in Osaka.

We get to participate in a project called 【2014 inochi Festa】

We're making a theme song for this project together with children who suffer from heart disease.
Today we had a press conference and met the actual patients.
We met a little before this through words and videos, and we're making a song inspired by the words we received there.
Right now we're about 80% complete

Today was our first time holding hands like this, but they had gone to see our live at Osaka-Jo Hall. I was truly happy to be able to hear their impressions of that and recent happenings directly.

They're living with artificial hearts right now

The fear of surgery and battling with symptoms every day is something I can't imagine
But, everyone has a dream and they're breathing with the aim of a better tomorrow than today.
They want to be nailists, chefs, and to be able to play and run around with their pets or friends; they're sparkling and facing forward

Embrace in your heart everyone regardless of age, gender, or circumstances.
That's why we want to make a song like that

With my dream of being someone who stands on stage, I've thought things like, "I want to play my favorite music!" and "I want many people to know about us!" so far, but recently I've been thinking that that alone isn't enough indefinitely; I really do have things that should be told, I want to make opportunities to get to know each other, and I want to go around playing lives.

Because 【SCANDAL】 says it, you know of this project. Because 【SCANDAL】 sings, it's more fun. When that happens, I believe that it makes us want to do our best

It's very meaningful for us to participate in this project that starts off the future from our home town of Osaka.
We want to play music that lifts your mood☺︎

Oh that's a nice blog/news to read. It's great they are doing something like this. I guess they will play the song at the festival for the first time =) Hope a lot of people go there!

I guess it's people like Rina that give me hope that humanity isn't all that bad. Nowadays, all sorts of crap is happening all over the world and to see the messages Rina wrote about accepting those who are different than us in this blog post really brightened up my day. Personally I think that this project is/will be my most favourite one whether I like the song written or not, just the message of this whole project really gets to me.

Great blog really.

I feel like they are a band I can love for so many reasons.

RINA is really a good person, I'm pretty sure that music can change the world (for better or worse), and with that SCANDAL, I am fulfilled with hope.

I want to make a band that bring joy and hope like Scandal do !

SCANDAL Never stop to impressed me.
When i was baby i had taken a long Surgical Operation at Heart,i stayed 6 month in Hospital.

I suppose we won't get a video of that festival. But I wonder if this special song will be released "soon" (single or b-side) or what they have planned with it.

Faith in humanity restored. People like RINA and SCANDAL are the ones worth-keeping, really a treasure to everyone; To be able to convey their thoughts and feelings to a song, and those songs that would inspire us to get through the day, do our best tomorrow, or even save lives (this is not exaggeration. There are people hold onto hope because of songs like it).

I can tell that Mami's the one wearing the big shirt and the black/white shoes haha

This one hits home hard. my dad passed away because of heart disease back in 2008. a cruel life this is.

about the topic: I could not be more happier! SCANDAL is doing a song for the patients. I didn't expect something like this. they are the best. Happy
