Here's a song by a band called Money Factor.

Lyrics & translation:

Vráť trochu lásky medzi nás
Kráčal prázdnou ulicou
Tíšil hladných nočných psov
Bol sám, ako boh
Krv mu tiekla z bosých nôh

Šiel niekam za láskou
V žiare modrých obrázkov
Správ o vojnách
Noc musí byť pokojná

Niekto bdie a v spánku dá
Silu slabých aj nám
Niekto bdie a vláči kríž
Kým ty krásne spíš, krásne spíš

Kráčal prázdnym nábrežím
Za niečim, na tom záleží
A s ním šiel priateľ dážď
Bol náhle, zvláštne, náš

Do snov nám naprší
Kríž nám vrastá do duší
Spíš schúlená
Neznáma, stratená

Niekto bdie a v spánku dá
Silu slabých aj nám
Niekto bdie a vláči kríž
Kým ty krásne spíš

Vráť, vráť trochu lásky medzi nás
Chcem vnímať, ako znie ten tvoj úprimný hlas
Vráť, vráť trochu lásky medzi nás
Príď aspoň s nádejou, ja ju sám neviem nájsť

Neviem nájsť, sám neviem nájsť
Tak vráť trochu lásky medzi nás
Tak mi ju vráť

Give back a little bit of love between us
He walked an empty street
He soothed hungry night dogs
He was alone, like god
Blood was flowing from his bare feet

He went somewhere for love
In blaze of blue pictures
Messages about a war
The night must be calm

Somebody's awake and in their sleep they'll give
The strenght of the weak ones to us too
Somebody's awake and drags their cross
While you beautifully sleep, beautifully sleep

He walked an empty waterfront
After something, that matters
And with him, friend rain went
It was, suddenly, strangely, ours

It will rain in our dreams
Cross grows into our souls
You sleep, curled up
Uknown, lost

Somebody's awake and in their sleep they'll give
The strenght of the weak ones to us too
Somebody's awake and drags their cross
While you beautifully sleep

Give back, give back a little bit of love between us
I want to sense, how your sincere voice sounds
Give back, give back a little bit of love between us
At least, come back with hope, I can't find it on my own

Can't find it, I can't find it on my own
So give back a little bit of love between us
So give it back to me

A pretty naughty ballad from one of the Philippines' jukebox queens! Released in 1981. This was also used as a commercial jingle for Tres Flores Pomade . Let's share a good song from your country! - Page 11 1f606

I am familiar with Chinese rock bands like Beyond and T'ang Dynasty because of MTV Asia (later known as Channel V). I watched MTV Asia through a feed all the way from Hong Kong to UHF channel 23 in Manila during the early 90s. I remember when my late parents got upset after discovering my gigantic antenna purchase with my lunch money. They let me install it on our roof on a hot summer weekend as a punishment.

Anyway, I recommend this new pop-rock band from the Philippines called IV of Spades. The song is entitled Bawat Kaluluwa (Every Soul). Honestly, their music is not my cup of tea but many youngsters love their music. Feel free to post your thoughts about their music.

Gosh, I'm fairly ancient!
