Mexican Music
Theme：RINA

Music I had purchased at a CD shop in Mexico. The jackets are super cuteー
Lately, I've been listening to these quite a bit in the morning while preparing to head out
It seems like female singer-songwriters are really in right now
The band called "Cafe Tacuba" was awesome
It's cool that Latin grooves incorporate other elements well into its base

We recorded as usual today too and was in the studio for a while, and it feels like the sounds we listened to and the scenery we saw were created naturally and exuded out

When we went to Turkey recently,
The words and sounds of artists we met really motivated us
These days I've been wanting to be absorbed once more in the merits of J-POP/ROCK

It's interesting how Scandal brings in some international sounds to their music; I wonder if they'll pull some Latin sound into some of their upcoming songs? I remember that several of their earlier works borrowed from Ska rhythms.

I remember when I was on the subway in New York a bunch of Mexican guys got on and played for money, everyone ignored them but I gave them some because they were really good !

Ugh, Natalia Lafourcade is like one of my favorite female artists ever, her last album is wonderful. I also like Ximena Sariñana and Carla Morrison quite a bit (the other two artists whose CDs are on the picture).

One more reason to love RINA .love.
