My God, who knew Rina was going through all that... My mom was a nurse, I have a daughter who does pilati training and a friend who sees an osteopath, so I get some of what she's had to deal with. She spoke about that in the past tense and mentioned the rehab she did for a year and a half. She also demonstrated how she previously wasn't able to normally get out of bed but is able to do so now. Doubt her leg's still numb, and the back pain seems to have at least lessened considerably.

Perhaps it's just me being oversensitive, but it seemed that Rina was starting to tear up when she talked about how the other members of the band supported her. Rina's, and the whole of Scandal's, professionalism and dedication to their craft is commendable as always... but it's really their unbreakable bond and love for each other that makes them great. A little off topic: had just read this old blog post of Rina's in which she'd just turned 20 and was writing a message to her 12-year-old self about aggressively pursuing her childhood dream of being a performer. Damn, I was expecting she would just talk about her training routine or something. Drummers usually have a lot of problems like these, I think that even with a doctor in the tour, it was a bit irresponsible to have it, she should have taken a break (I would probably have done the same though).

Anyway, I'm glad she's better now

Is it a Japanese cultural thing to ask your favourite celebrities personal questions like the ones Rina mentioned? (E.g. "is it too late for me to start playing drums?" or "how should I show my personality?").

Curious because I seldom see celebrities of other nationalities getting asked these (or maybe they do get asked, but opt not to publicly answer). Scandal even has a love advice segment on their radio show, for which they openly invite fans to share such personal information with them.

Voice Actors in Japan have these kinds of segments on their net radio programs all the time. Good source of content when you're trying to fill airtime. .evilgrin.

No doubt it made that customer week, to be help by Rina.

In the UK there being small number of Youtube stars going on to work on one of major UK channels. Rina could easy make next step and become a TV presenter for she has the experience over the years doing Radio, being on tv show and stage. While I don't mean give up Scandal, she can do one off documentaries in to things she love like fashion.

Since I don't know the in and out of Japanese TV but having one of Japan top music stars on your books could only mean good news.

This is out of the blue...
But I have decided to start a new project.

I am going to show you all the contents and progress of this project on YouTube, so please follow my videos and get to know this project little by little!

RINA has not yet revealed what this project is all about, but it seems to be a crowdfunding project related to women. Also, this video is the first of three videos RINA will be posting about this project. The other two will be uploaded today (August 15) and tomorrow (August 16) at 7 pm JST!

It's difficult to understand a lot of the dialogue from Seina and the band's manager due to the audio quality, so I apologize if a few things are off!
