Nihon University College of Art
Theme：RINA

Last month, I was interviewed remotely
As a guest lecturer
For Nihon University College of Art's
"Mechanisms of Language" 2021 course.

I talked plenty about
Lyrics and words
That I cherish and feel,
And how they draw forth all kinds of things.

The content is only open to current students,
But since this kind of chance doesn't happen very often,
I thought I'd keep a record of it on the blog too＾＾
I was so happy to receive this offer,
And it was so interesting.

I'm sure there are many college students
Who haven't been able to take classes in person like they'd hope to
And are feeling frustrated.
I thought it would be great
If this could lead to new ideas
And a change of pace＾＾

After that, while talking about a bunch of things,
I decided that I too will keep leaving behind
Things that I love in various forms.
That was a really good stimulus＾＾
I hope that each and every person who makes things
Can continue to freely create works
That make them feel excited...!

Not surprise about this news. I love Scandal not only because they sing enjoyable song but also their talent as song makers. Unfortunately their english translations might not known by many viewers / listeners so their messages inside unknown. For example I think Koe / voice very like on Japan because the lyrics is beautifull and greatly describe nostalgic emotion inside.

PS: I enjoy lunar eclipse (Supermoon) accompanied with Kagen no Tsuki / Waning moon song last night. Nihon University College of Art - 2021-05-27 (RINA) 2764

I see you're new here, but I'm surprised you would dare to say this on SCANDAL HEAVEN of all places (and no less on an English-translated post) which has specialized in doing English translations of all things SCANDAL for the past 12 years, and which has 17,000 registered users plus a combined 70,000 followers on social media

I have to agree with thoseguiltyeyes, even without SH's many and excellent translations even google will supply you with English translations of their songs, they are not hard to find these days,

Just one more word, so many SCANDAL fangroups on facebook use stuff from here without even a credit and it makes me mad !

That just the way world work sadly. Those of us who love coming on to SH, can sent some free coffee now and then to Thoseguiltyeyes, for the work she put in.

Rina for me seen to be the most outgoing out of the four. If Scandal decided take a break, Rina could move toward working on TV or go into to Politics.

True! But that still leaves hundreds of thousands who don't yet know about SCANDAL HEAVEN. So if I notice someone asking for English subs on YouTube, I post a reply that I hope will bring them here ....

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm 100% grateful to TGE and the SH team for everything that's on SH.

But ngl it did take me quite a while to find Scandal Heaven even after being a Scandal fan for some time. I'd been so used to Japanese artistes having little to no translated content online that it never occured to me to even try searching.

Agree. What i mean english subs for youtube. On my opinion Youtube are site to gain/ promote popularity, also searching new / fun contents that eventually lead new fans.

Anyway i thankfull for SH team for their hardwork.
