i want to know the advantages of each scandal member according to your opinion...

of course besides of playing their instrument.....
just share it ok

Haruna: Being the oldest, having a good leadership, keeping the girls in harmony. Also, the obvious one, that heavenly voice .dies.

Rina: Keeping the fans updated with her blog posts, the fact that she can also play piano adds another color to the songs.

Tomomi: I can't imagine anyone being bored around her, she always has something odd, weird, yet somehow interesting. She can make anything around her somewhat funny: photo shots, interviews, lives, anything.

Mami: Well, she's pretty much Tomo's partner in crime, and she's good at diet.

Medios already stated a lot of the things i wanted to say but let's go!

Haruna : Leader, beautiful voice, is the elder sister so to speak and is there for the girls, rock attitude, etc.
Tomomi : Funny, writes a lot of songs, special cute voice that goes well with Haruna, etc.
Rina : Youngest, very active on the band with twitter/blogs/pictures, the "girliest" on the band, cares a lot about the others, etc.
Mami : Free spirit, is really different from the others, has her own fashion style, loves food, loves games, otaku, etc.

Hard to list everything but the main thing is that they go really well together!

What I can think of....

Haru: has the most cool and rock-feel attitude on-stage, the serious one in the group, super sweet smile, caring towards the other members, empower the audiences, the spokesperson in most occasions

Mami: the cool one on-stage but dorky off-stage, bring in the lighter mood off-stage, the type that goes with the flow (I think) and be supportive towards the group.

Rina: the girlish and cute type, cares a lot about the fans perspective, very active in social media, kinda perfectionist, second spokesperson besides Haruna.

Tomo: easy going and likes to goof around the most, often clueless, the most emotional member, cute and high-pitched voice.

Haruna : a good leader, when some media interviewing them, first.. Haru will answer their questions, but Haru always ask for each member opinion too..never forgetting them.. cool Haruna...

Timo : cute and hyperactive bassist! never bored to watch her and Mami say weird Japanese language.. lol

Mami : aaa obviously.. she's mysterious but just like people say,"never judge a book from its cover".. and in fact, Mami has weird cute girly side too.. and don't forget it, she's a gamer..
never bored to see her..both on stage and in everyday life.. .love.

Rina : the youngest and cutie one! she's a small girl, look like a normal person, easy to cry, but she has a very strong willpower and i like it the way she talk and share her opinion with the other member.. so cutee~

Oh anyway, it's going off topic. Sorry...

Haruna: for me, Haruna is the one who brought SCANDAL's words and thoughts to fans to life, either in lives (along with Tomomi) or in MC's inside the live. Imho, she is the "bridge" between SCANDAL and their fans in said lives. Being a front-man/woman is really a big pressure and Haruna fulfilled that role really good imho. I think Rina thought about this too, which is why she kinda criticized Haruna's MC in one of their lives if you watch the NHK documentary thing. (Unless I understand that part wrong lol). The NHK documentary also summarized what happened to Haruna's voice and her determination to fix such issue. This determination is a good role model to some fans and inspire those fans in their life (among other motivations and inspirations of course). This would also show that SCANDAL isn't just admirable for their skills and talents only, but also their efforts in life and such.

Mami: I can't really say much about Mami. She really is that "mysterious" for me XD. But, from what little things I got, I think she's the one who the other members like to talk to whenever they have a problem. And of course (again, along with Tomomi) she's the one who can lighten up the mood.

Tomomi: Her cheerfulness. Imho that cheerfulness is something that could really lighten up the mood. And on a personal note, that cheerfulness of Tomo is one of the thing that makes me really interested in seeing various SCANDAL vids. It's interesting to think of what stuffs she'll do in said vids (sometimes, it's the little things that made it wonderful ). Her cheerfulness is also, what makes SCANDAL more... humane. It kinda reminds us that, despite being a famous group consisting of super cool and talented ladies, they are humans: enjoying and living the moment to the fullest. That is something I think fans can relate to, and can make fans like them even more.

Rina: She likes to keep in touch with her fans, from what I see. If Haruna is the one who connects SCANDAL and fans in lives, Rina is the one who connects them outside lives, especially through social media (blogs and tweets). I think this is a good thing and goes both ways: with Rina being sociable like that, fans could send their various opinions about SCANDAL (about lives, songs, etc). Those opinions could be something for SCANDAL to think about, so they could improve even further (haven't proven this myself though. This is just something I think could happen. Or maybe it already happened.). And also, Rina could keep the fans updated on whatever events SCANDAL is attending/doing as said by Medios above. She is also the one who brought the "fan point of view" for SCANDAL (as said in a recent interview).

Welp, that's from me. Do remember it's just an opinion of mine, so forgive if it's a little illogical or something .sweat. lol

Haruna: Cute and irresistible crooked teeth >.< Captivating voice and stare that can melt my heart away!!


Rina: Cute and the hottest drummer girl that I know!

Mami: Her style is very unique and she gives off an aura that is mysterious and makes you want to know more about her!


Tomomi: O.o she is a very interesting person that can leave you dumbfounded at times but all in all she is the fun that glues the band together )

Well, I really can't say advantages of each members..because..they handle different instruments..and plays different roles in the band.. I prefer it as their contributions as members of the band..

for Haruna..
She's the lead vocals and the center of the band..most of the time..and also as the eldest..be the decision maker or the neutral one in times that there are misunderstandings between the three members..Her role is to set the mood of the audience..because she's always the one who starts speaking at MCs..It's a big responsibility..for her..and also..with her unique voice..she's the voice of Scandal..because of that..we recognize immediately that they are Scandal..

for Mami..
As the lead guitarist..she gives that rock feel and the excitement to every song.. a very important role in bands..also her unique sound in playing the guitar adds up to that Scandal feel.. at first I thought her lines were very easy to do..but doing it myself took me time to get..and not including the part of getting used to playing it..so her riffs are not to be taken for granted..and..the second voice..or the blending voice that she makes..fits perfectly with haruna's..makes it sound better..playing while doing that second voice part..is also a hard thing to do..so Mami is doing great in that part..and I am very happy with that..

for Tomomi
As a bass player myself..I know that this instrument is also a very important ingredient..bass is the foundation of music..without it..music would sound very thin..and tomo is doing a very great job in doing her part as a Scandal bassist..her bass lines are improving as they grow in the music industry..her bass lines gives life to the music they create..one important thing for a bass player also is.. you should not miss the notes.. and bass on listening to Scandal for a long time..including their lives..bass lines were very consistent..I am also amazed with tomo doing bass lines or fill ins while singing..singing while playing is hard..that's why I'm very amazed with tomo and of course all of 'em...and also..with added tomo's voice..the chipmunk voice..gives that cute factor to them..makes their rock music not that too heavy..and of course..her voice together with haru's are a great blend and makes Scandals identity more known..

for Rina
playing drums is a hard task..add up singing and it is really hard..I really like girls playing drums..actually I like girls playing instruments..when I saw Rina and the girls playing.. my respect to girls increased and made me love them more..I know how Rina struggled for the first few years of their fame..but her dedication..and also with the girls support..she overcame that and got better at playing it..being the one who creates the tempo or rythm isn't an easy job..the speed of the song is in her hands..and as far as i know..Rina is the updater of their blogs..posting activities that they are doing and going to do...knowing the importance of it for their fans..even with her young age..she's in this level of fame already..

so this is my point of view about them..I don't know if I have said everything..but I think that's it for now..they all have big roles..for me..there won't be anyone in advantage to anyone..because..they have different roles..and all of 'em are important..for me..they are just doing their best in their own parts making them One..and even though they have Haru..they all have now their own identities..own fans..but..they are still Scandal..and even though they have fans of their own..when you say Scandal..they will be supporting only one band..

I think of them as the definition of certain words...

Haruna: to me, it's "sexy", but on a different meaning. She's the leader, the frontman (or frontwoman...), the main vocalist. She has a "rock aura". To me, she is the image of a strong woman, although she is still very young.

Mami: "cool". Sometimes she is the silent type who supports the other members from behind, other times she goes to the front to rock everybody's socks off with a guitar solo. She looks like that friend everyvody has, who is a little weird, even isolated sometimes, but aways has something to say or to do that impress all of her friends.

Tomomi: "funny". This is quite simple, and obvious, it looks like it's impossible to get bored near her.

Rina: "cute". Really, dictionaries should have just a picture of her to explain what "cute" is.

All of them have their moments of being sexy, cool, funny and cute, but that's what I think they look like most of the time.

Haruna: She is a good leader. Keeping the group together for more that 6 years is a statement for her leadership.

Rina: She is very feminine. She keeps the "Girl" image for the group. She improve very well through out these years talking about her Drum Skills

Tomomi: Who would not love Tomomi's Energy in and out of the stage. She may be naive but she is the Life of the group. Can Imagine them without Tomo.

Mami: She keeps the ROCK attitude for the band with her guitar skills. And add that boyish charms of her.

Haruna- Effective Leading Capability, Talents, Personality.

Tomomi- i'll call her the ace- composes, dances, sings, natural speaker, a natural-born debater- her natural geminian nature makes her witty in lots of aspects, i know that myself, i'm a geminian.

Mami- versatility, flexibility- like that of an elite team that can pull operations succesfully, she can sing, play instrument, compose/write lyrics, dances as well.

Rina- the attitude towards learning, being the youngest, you can't see her left behind, she's doing great in her role, sings just as well, and that her age allows her to learn more from the world and from her three senior's experiences.


And don't get me wrong please, i'm a total Ono-san supporter, even though i listed little about her above, in reality, my mind is full of compliments about her, i see her next to perfection.
An ideal woman to begin with.

Advantages from My Opinion...

Haruna: be cool girl make i wonder when see her style in live, her voice compatible for rock music, good leadership

Tomomi: very cute girl, skilled bassist, good rapper, can make nice communication with audience fans in live concert...

Mami: be a simple face girl but i can't bore for see her face, skilled rapper, nice melody guitarist...

Rina: feminine girl i will make her as like my sister, her style look friendly people

HARUNA: Well she is the oldest, kind of like an onee-chan for the girls. .clap.
TOMOMI: Seems to be a fun person, good sense of humor... .love.
RINA: Strong willed, cute, can also play the piano. It's interesting because, besides drums, she can also play more "melodious" instruments
MAMI: Draws best among the group, can also drum which is again interesting.

Rina- She can also play the keyboard for their songs and she keeps fans updated with her blogs
Tomo- Adds energy to the group and compliments Haruna's voice
Haruna- Being the oldest member, I think she kind of keeps the girls on track...
Mami- She adds awesome electric solos. I think her solos shows that SCANDAL is not just a girl-band but a rock girl band! .shout.

Haruna: Seems like she really does go at her own pace, with her own style, and I love that. Of course, her VOICE and that she dances really well. I hope she still puts some time into dancing when she's free - we never hear about it =\

Tomomi: Her unique voice that adds flavour to the band's sound. Insane bass skills and how she doesn't seem like it, but she's really technical. She's also deep, almost as deep as Rina, despite being all bubbly and just plain adorable. Plus, her lyric writing~

Mami: Her voice is unique too and also adds flavour. Her style, free-spiritedness, and how you can tell when she's so genuinely into something in her blogs. Also being Tomo's "partner in crime" aha Her chic look is what I fell for and the opposite attraction offstage is what really made me crash ^^ 

Rina: How deep and inspirational she is. How she genuinely cares for the fans and those around her and doesn't spare time to express it. How much of a fangirl she is of her own band XD Plus, her composition and lyrics~ 

Um... I'm not sure if I just listed out who they are (in my opinion) LOL So.. who they are is their advantage? That doesn't make sense.

Haruna - has amazing and beautiful voice, which makes the band more awesome. Her voice also fits Rock music that's really wonderful! She's oldest, serious person and that's what i like about her most! She can also dance awesomely!

Tomomi - She's free, funny, happy person that always has a smile on face! Makes everyone happy, has awesome skills in playing bass, also her voice makes band look more cute and at the same time cool! I think no one will get bored being her partner at something or just being her friend! Writes a lot of songs and music.

Rina - She's very talented, has amazing smile  Keeps the band being cheerful. She's kind, close to her fans and loves posting a lot in her blog, twitter XD

Mami - She's funny, Purposeful and at the same time serious too. Has amazing, her own fashion style which amazes me more and more. Also has different skills besides playing guitar, what she does for me perfect! Knows how to cook, loves games, draws the best among the band. She can sing, dance, writes lyrics/music and those are all the reasons why i adore and respect her!!

Well... let me see...

Haru: She's the older of the group, so, her leadership makes anyone to follow her, even though she was she shy type girl (to be the vocalist, and founding member comes with the leadership of a group and the responsibility of this). Because of this responsibility, she is the most... sane... member (I mean, she's not so crazy as the other girls...)

Rina: She's the most closer to fans. That's something good 'cause, she's not the type of artist like lady gaga, justin asdf, even "Ricardo Arjona", none of them replies your tweets hahaha. She is a great person. I think that she is just like that, is not Marketing Strategy :3

Tomomi: Who will be bored with a girl like her? She is the crazy of the group. I had friends like her (i had... :c) and, people like her, are wonderful people!
I think, if Tomomi leaves Scandal, everyday would be boring for Scandal. (And she is naive, that makes her cute)

Mami: I was reading, in some Twitter post about Mami, that she was learning about the Pentatonic Scale... That shocked me, cause the pentatonic scale is basic for making solos... In that point I realized, Mami's skills about guitar, are born skills, and if you mix that, with the fact that she practiced a lot (Stratocaster history), she could became the person she is now.
Also, she is Otaku, Gamer, Great Guitarrist, and it's Crazy: She is the perfect girl :3

Mami: Has the  amazing talent to play guitar and also her fashion style and one of her advantages is she looks like a barbie about her hair and when she sang she is so adorable and maybe she's active to read the tweets.....she love games and drawibg ....
