@Chez and Chibby: I don't usually care if people say my name wrong because they don't know me, like the Starbucks guy who didn't know Rina. He doesn't have to know everyone he serves. But those people you said are the host of a program. They're supposed to know who their guests are. That's what made me upset.

Haha the starbucks thing is so funny. Well, Rina in English would be pronounced with a strong "r" sound which Japanese don't do that, hence the mistake.

Lol that's Starbucks for you, they always seem to have the hardest time getting people's names right. It's kind of understandable though, different accents can make people misunderstand what you're saying and Starbucks can get loud with all their customers, if they went to one while they were in Vegas than it was probably loud. A lot of big city Starbucks tend to get rather loud when they're busy.

And to everyone that says "Thanks for the translate," just letting you know that translate is a transitive verb and cannot be used as a noun, as how you guys are using it. "Thanks for the translation (noun)" or "Thanks for translating (present participle)" would be correct to say.

I disagree, The easiest way to make people understand you is by pronouncing the "r" by trilling it. . Considering most Americans can't do it, it would probably be funny.
