Both songs are well-written... but lyrics-wise I like LIFE IS A JOURNEY better. It pretty much explains the obstacle Tomo had to overcome during the world tour.

Wow. Life is a Journey lyrics had me by surprise. My Japanese is not all that sufficient yet, so when I read the translation, I really felt the emotion. Tomomi is a great songwriter. I'm glad she got over the writer's block. The first 3 lines of Life is a Journey in my opinion is really sad. (is that the right word to use?)

life is a journey can really touch everyone's heart but I believe sisters get a lot more meaningful if you watch daisies. rina really caught every details of that film, I'm happily surprise by that!

It was more than a block, she said something about having a depressive slump during the Hello World Tour (I think it was either overseas or sometime at the end of the Japan leg),  and this song is basically inspired by getting out of her slump, if I'm correct. I also like her style of writing, even the subliminal ones.  This song doesn't straight up tell you the reason for her slump, but it gives you an overall feeling of what she might have gone through,  I don't know exactly but that's what I think.

It's a terrible feeling going through depression and sometimes the only thing that can help is if you put them into writing. Their 10 year run (and more years to come I hope) can put anyone under this kind of phase, as i'm sure just like in any other career people will get the feeling of wanting to turn back time and change some things. But that's just what I think

She wrote about it a few times, I think one in her blog, and during an interview about the writing for the Sisters single. Sorry but I can't find that interview anywhere.
