I noticed in past posts that some people use Service companies like Celga (which currently uses the Exchange Rate of ¥79 to $1) instead of ordering directly online (i.e. CDJapan, YesAsia, PlayAsia, HMV Jp or Amazon.co.jp).

That's not even including their service fees or shipping charges! OUCH!

Considering the price you pay for their services in the exchange rate, how are they in service? Good or bad?

my charges came out from about 64 USD to about 70 USD for my temptation box photo book edition. They had to charge some else, but the customs charge wouldn't be that high.

I only used Celga for the tour polo tee, for the book, I managed to get it off cdjapan soon after I got their email notification.

For both cdjapan, Celga, there will be shipping charges involved. No way to work around to avoid it, the most will probably be combining orders to cut down the cost.

I did this last night and compared prices. Excluding shipping cost CDJapan is cheaper and comes with a pin with items apparently (I didn't get anything with my Temptation Box order other than the photo book and what else came with it.) I can't confirm, but a major of people who order from CDJapan get a little extra with their order for cheaper pricing. I would take a pin over a sticker anyways.

Usually yesasia don't give stickers or pins as they are based out of Japan.

From what I see, Epic Records(their label) will usually give the freebies to retailers in Japan first.

Unless they planned it to give it out to other retail overseas but usually rare.

I used to buy from yesasia with the impression that I can get first press bonus, but nah, nothing extra came. Hence my switch to cdjapan.

CDJapan does appear to offer the "lowest" prices for many products but remember that the shipping costs drive up the "total" cost. Don't forget that currency exchange rates affect the prices so maybe the company "lowers" the prices to entice people to buy!

Sure, you can pick parcel post which is the cheapest delivery method but it literally may take Weeks for the order to arrive. Better to pay pay "extra" for the expedited delivery like Fedex Intl which takes ~5 bus. days for delivery!

Getting a "first press" bonus is just that, a bonus, since bonus items generally aren't offered for many items!

If you compare the cost between CDJapan and HMV Japan, the "total" comparative cost of products are relatively similar except that you may get different bonus items, if offered.

I've ordered from both (as CDJapan and HMV Japan both offer Fedex Intl service for delivery options) and the total cost per order (depending on the item) is almost comparable!

PlayAsia didn't offer any "bonus" items on products I've ordered from them.

YesAsia included a "Scandal pin" once with a CD that I ordered from them. Other than that, no other bonus items were included with any other items including First Press items. This excludes the "Japan mini bonus" if you meet the eligibility requirements.

Guess I'll switch back over to CDJapan or HMV Japan if I want the bonus items though it usually costs more (i.e. $20-$30 USD MORE) per order, generally because of the high shipping costs!! Ouch!

If you mean HMV Japan, then yes, you get one of the stickers ^_^ For the pins, you have to buy from CDJapan. On that note, finally my copy of Temptation Book has arrived .clap. Now, still waiting for my copies of Nanka to arrive...

I'm planning to get all three if its actually worth it. Surprisingly the first press are still not sold out yet.

I'd like to know about this too. It really depends on what the 'special clip' is that'll help me decide which version to buy. Might just buy all 3 in the end though.

If you are not talking about the first press reg. edition then yeh Yup, the special clip is just one full live performance from their Shiteki Ongaku and imo, the photobooks will be the same regardless which limited ed. CD you get. I caved in and also bought limited edition B along with a reg. CD of Shunkan hoping that the clip will be the one where Haru runs her finger across her eye
