Yes I did see that and as an AKB fan of 7 years I have seen that so many times.
I think it is time this stupid no boyfriend rule was thrown out the window.

Acchan was 14 when she joined AKB and her Mom signed the contract.
It is easy to promise no boyfriends when you are 14 but girls grow up !

I'm really liking HKT's first song "Hatsukoi Butterfly"
Before I heard that song, I was kinda expecting their voices to sound more like young AKB like in Aitakatta or Skirt Hirari, etc.

I do know what you mean but please dont blame the girls for it, AKB come from a very
different culture to JKT.
Japanese idols agree to do gravure ( semi nude ) shots in their contract.
But have you noticed JKT's costumes are getting shorter all the time and they showed quite
a bit of skin in the 'Pocari Sweat' advert on the beach.

yeah, I think of AKB and other idol groups as launching pads for different careers. Some idols go off into acting, variety shows, modeling, gravure, comedy, singing, miscellaneous entertainment, etc. while some decide to stay in the idol group business. All of those things are a pretty big part of J-culture. I guess that kind of stuff gives them an opportunity to try different things.
