Well, I'm not a huge fan of country/western music, jazz/blues or some of the more extreme types of metal, but since it becomes a case-by-case thing at that point, It's entirely possible that I like _some_ songs of those genres. But rap ? So far, zilch.

I listen to almost anything as long as it sounds good to me.. I don't know if there are people like me but to make you see a glimpse of what I am implying..

to its recent incarnations like nu-metal (old Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit etc.) metalcore (Bullet For My Valentine, old Avenged Sevenfold etc.) to punk (Green Day, Bowling For Soup etc.) post-hardcore (old Escape The Fate, Alexisonfire etc.) to pop (anything that sounds good on the radio, yup sometimes Justin Beiber) I also like rap, hip-hop and gangsta rap (old Eminem, Dr. Dre etc.) and.. I also like OPM (local music here in our country) oh.. forgot about V-Kei (the GazettE, Alice Nine, Versailles etc.) to J-Rock (RADWIIMPS, MAXIMUM the HORMONE, Dir en Grey etc.) and J-Pop too.. (Leah Dizon, Matsushita Yuya, Home Made Kazoku, etc.) and K-Pop (2NE1, BoA etc.) I want to type everything but that would be crazy.. (btw.. SCANDAL is no.1 for me.. ^_^) .wow.

Almost anything. from classical symphonic orchestras to jazz, fusion, blues to black/death metal. But my favorites are alternative, indie rock/pop, punkrock, grunge, shoegaze and postrock.

Faith No More are my favourites. They've been my favourite band for the last 19 years, and I also enjoy Mike Patton's other bands...
After that, I listen to pretty much everything. In my CD collection you'll find death metal, grindcore, punk, alternative, pop, indie, rap/hip hop, experimental, middle eastern, J-Pop, J-Rock, alternate-country and everything else inbetween... except for most Top 40.

I.... I have an extreeeeeeeeeemely large collection of music. And I fully appreciate every single song I have, but of the genres amongst them, you will not find a single country song.
I just haven't been able to find anything appealing to me about that genre.... everything else is great though, even better if it's Japanese. XDDD
