How can it chart when they only released it on their site for 24 hours? o_O

I mean they didn't send this to radio/TV/etc, it was more like a gift to the fans (or a small promo to get some news/article I guess).

@HRMT USEN has been flooded with people's requests to have it broadcasted, released on CD and have the video reuploaded.
RINA stated it in her today's blog post as well as Billboard Japan.
Too bad no CD release nor video reuploading is planned yet.

Edit for clarification: this UNSEN ranking is about the most wanted-to-be-broadcasted songs based on subscribers/listeners inquiries. I foolishly assumed everyone knew that. My mistake.

Well if people want it it's a great news.

I think there is a good chance the song gets released on their next CD. They hinted at that in SCANOMICS (if the translation is right) so there is hope.

Wow, that's really great news! Yosha! .clap. I'm proud as a fan that a lot of people are requesting it.

SCANDAL, please release this song in your next CD (with Rainy as B-side) and reupload the video in your official YouTube channel, both in and outside Japan.

On another thought, Rainy can be released as another single, separate from Departure... Or release a double side-A single (with Rainy as another A-side)! Actually I want a PV for Rainy...

SCANDAL's official facebook does mention "Release date is still not yet confirmed, but please keep eyes on it!" for Departure, so it might be possible that an official release for this song is on the cards. Although it might also mean the confirmation for release is still pending, but everyone is probably hoping for the former

Well that is great because as I mentioned they also said that during SCANOMICS according to a translation so it's seems almost certain now that the song will be on their next CD.

Now that doesn't mean it will be the next single, it could be the b-side. To be honest I wish the next single is Rainy, it would mean new PV and full song because right now we just have an unclear and short (but awesome) preview.

A Departure single would actually give us nothing new at all, we saw the PV and we know the full song. Of course I would still pre-order it ^^ But prefer they release it as b-side.

sounds like "One night Carnival" but still have its own uniqueness..and totally love it..

this band's songs are always in my playlist, because you'll never get tired of listening to their music..every single one has it's own flavor..including this song..totally love Scandal

The most amazing thing about it is that it was only just a few months ago (well maybe 4 or 5) that Mami tweeted that she heard the Violin for the first time and fell in love with it...sure didn't take her that long to incorporate it into a song.

Do you guys think this confirms that Departure will be their next single even if for now we have no news?

I mean did they do something like that in the past for another song? Or could this still be a special case because they just wanted to celebrate the OJH anniversary?

I'm just surprised that they showed the whole MV and not a short version if their intention was to tease/promote the song a bit. Takes away the surprise effect or anticipation if this is the new single I think.

Another good news then! But unless it becomes the next single it doesn't mean much even if it's still good promo for the band.

If it does become their next single it might mean the sales could be higher than usual I guess.
