Are there any way to purchase music from mora without a Japanese credit card? If so then I would buy the album for the fourth time (Japanese vinyl+CD/DVD, EU CD, and this)

My simple review on the album, attempting not to spoil anything for those holding out (sorry if I do)
Album review in general: Truth be told I lean more towards sentimental and ballad types of songs (which is why I find my obsession with SCANDAL strange sometimes, although I do enjoy my rock songs), so it's no surprise that I really like this album. Based on what I hear from the new songs so far it is one of the better ones IMO, and really kinds of breaks out from their previous releases. From garage rock style in BEST SCANDAL, to what I consider mainstream pop in BABY ACTION, to the straight out rock style in QAT and the explosiveness that is STANDARD, it was really great to hear SCANDAL exploring their sentimental side for once, and it really doesn't disappoint. Kinds of reinforces how multi-faceted their music styles can be. But I'm still crying out for a proper ballad along the styles of Namida no Regret and one piece, which happened to be the last one they did. Whoever told SCANDAL rock bands shouldn't do ballads deserves a slap to the face.
Outstanding songs (at first impression): Onegai Navigation, Place of life, Kan Biiru, Winter Story, Oyasumi (this is just my RINA bias in action)

- love in action: Too much TOMOMI at the verses, her voice sounded too sharp for my liking here. Lucky HARU kind of saved it in the pre-chorus, and good thing TOMOMI sounded better in the chorus. Song wise it was pretty catchy, it would be something I would listen to quite often if not for TOMOMI's voice at the start of the verses
Graduation: The tuning at the start of each verse sounded weird to me, but it gets better at the chorus. I still think Departure sounds better as a graduation song though.
Onegai Navigation: Good thing SCANDAL still remembered their rock among all their new songs filled with nostalgic sounding songs. Easily the better ones among their new songs in the album.
Hon wo Yomu: A bit too cute sounding for MAMI IMO, I can somehow imagine TOMOMI singing this song instead. Still a pretty good listen, although this needs time to grow on to me. I still prefer Koe MAMI over this.
Kan Biiru: TOMOMI sounds good here, better than in love in action. I prefer her singing to be more mellow, since she's so high-pitched, although she still sounds like she's using a bit too much force during the chorus. The song in general is one of the better new ones in the album IMO.
Winter Story: I literally can imagine myself listening to this on a cold winter day, even though my country is perpetually hot. This song kinds of have a Xmas feel to it, especially with the bells in the background (at least I think I hear bells). A good listen on a day when you just want to relax.
Oyasumi: Woohoo RINA lead vocals!!! My complete RINA bias made me smile all the way when I heard her sing. Although I was slightly irritated by the autotune. Not sure if the producers think she needs that to cover any technical flaws she has from not doing much vocal work before this, but I think she would have done fine without the autotune. Still, it's a really relaxing listen, something I would listen to before I sleep, so the title kinds of fits
Place of life: I dunno about the feat Tetsuya Komuro part actually. When they said featuring I was expecting to hear something somewhere that I could immediately identify as a collaboration, but as far as I hear it was just SCANDAL performing. They could simply name the song without the featuring and I wouldn't be able to tell any difference. But still, it was a good song, one of the best in the album. Kind of hard to describe, but it kind of gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside hahaha.

TSUTAYA at Dōtonbori rocks. Two days on, and at 11PM - they still had it!
The downside is when I was out of Osaka today looking at castles and eating steak, guess which all-girl four-piece rokku bando decided to descend into Osaka to promote their new album...
Moral of the story: you can't win 'em all.

Just listened for the first time to the album and it's fantastic 
I love some songs a bit more obviously but overall the album is solid, great, awesome !

Most of what I ordered for HELLO WORLD arrived earlier this morning~ Everything I ordered from CDJ came but I'm still waiting on the order from Tower Records. It should be here by the end of the week or by next week at the latest.
I ordered the Regular Edition from Tower Records to get Haruna's clear file and everything else was ordered from CDJ. The entire order...
So... A pretty big shipment from CDJ this time. I was kind of surprised at the package's size when it came haha. ^.^"
As for the album itself.... I really quite like it. I'm not sure if I'd say I like it better than STANDARD. Actually, I think I like STANDARD and HELLO WORLD equally at this point. The two albums show two different sides of the band. STANDARD shows a more rock side while HELLO WORLD definitely shows a more sentimental side to the girls. The album is actually kind of bittersweet in a way. A lot of the lyrics are sweet yet sad at the same time. The lyrics might just be one of my favorite parts about the album really.
My favorite song off the album hands down is Onegai Navigation. I really like SCANDAL's rock songs so it's no surprise to me that Onegai is my favorite song haha. It's a solid rock piece and definitely one that is probably amazing to hear live. It's been on repeat for quite some time now.
I'll put the rest of the songs kind of under a spoiler tag to not make the post look too long (even though it is lol).
I'm really happy with the album. The girls definitely did a very good job on it and it certainly does show off another side to them. It'll be something playing for a while definitely. .love.

- Graduation and Oyasumi are two other songs I really, really liked on the album. I can admit that my bias towards Haruna probably has something to do with how well I took to Graduation but really, my favorite thing about the song is the lyrics. Haruna's lyrics are always so deep and emotional; Graduation was another song from her that you can feel the emotion through the song even if there's a language barrier. It's why I love her as a lyricist. The lyrics to Graduation really struck a chord for me and they're kind of something I do relate to when I think about someone from my past. So I guess that's another reason why Graduation quickly became my second favorite song on the album; it's come to mean a lot to me fairly quickly.
I like the fact Rina sings on Oyasumi. Her voice really is very beautiful. It's a bit typical of female artists but it's beautiful nonetheless. I just wish there wasn't so much autotune on the song. The autotune doesn't bother me that much but I would like to hear Rina singing without autotune on her voice, you know? Nevertheless, I really liked Oyasumi; Rina's voice gives a very sweet and nostalgic feel.
Tomo's voice in love in action does come off a bit strongly but I think it does still sound nice. She and Haru's voices have always complimented each other very nicely so I always like hearing the two of them sharing vocals. Tomomi did very well on Kan Biiru. Her voice has a more somber feel to it on the track and the feel really does suit her voice very well.
Winter Story is a really nice song and I really liked it. I admit that I didn't take to it at first but after a few listens, I've found that it's quite a nice song. The lyrics definitely remind me of someone close to me haha. It's a good song for winter. ^.^
Place of life is kind of a very bittersweet song. You can feel the emotion in the song and the lyrics are pretty emotional as well. I love Haruna's backing vocals on the track; she did really well on those. The song, I think, was a very good way to close out the album with the song's meaning and lyrics kept in mind. ^.^
Hon wo Yomu honestly disappointed me a little. I was expecting something like Koe so maybe that's why. I don't know; I just can't really get a feel for the song. I've tried listening to it but the love for it just isn't growing yet. I really like Mami's vocals on the song but the song as a whole is just... Kind of eh to me. It feels a bit weaker than the other songs. Hon wo Yomu is certainly going to be a song that will need a lot of time to get used to aha.

I know how you feel! I missed them while promoting Image at Tower Records and Tsutaya in Tokyo.
Well, good thing for me then, that I didn't camp there yesterday, since they were already in Osaka!

They are still here today for according to MAMI's blog.
But according to a SCANDAL tweet within the last hour, today will be spent at MBS in Kita-ku for a TV programme (I think - puipui something or other). Fat chance of bumping into them at a takoyaki stall in Namba...

They seem to accept all VISA/MaterCard and AMEX but I didn't try a real order till the end of the process (yet).
You can still create an account and try…

I read on some other site that your credit card need to be issued in Japan for it to work. I hope this isn't the case though.

@joon: they say so on Mora but only for debit/one-time debit VISA cards. They don't mention such limitations for usual VISA credit cards.

I really like the new album!
It doesn't top QaT for me but it's definitely up there with STANDARD even if it has a bit of a different feeling to it.
One thing I really really reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaly wish was that they didn't autotune Rina in Oyasumi!
She has a really nice voice and the autotuning just sounds tacky and not good imo
Contrary to how other people seem to feel, I really like Honn wo Yomu, I think it's my favourite so far on the album!

some of Oyasumi's parts sounds distorted (for example 00:25 -00:38, 01:30-02:20) in all of my headphones (ATH M50, ATH ES700, ATH IM70, Sennheiser Momentum on Ear) but it does sound fine in our 30 yr old JVC speakers

I can't stop listening to this song! Timo really did well to come up with this gem, so proud of her. Also worth mentioning is Mami's awesome fills and little riffs all over the song from start to finish. And the solo is very nice as well
Lots of good stuff on this album, Kan Biiru, Image, Onegai Navigation, Graduation, Hon wo Yomu and love in action stands out for me at this moment. Hon wo Yomu in particular is a really clever song with a real hooky melody and nice lyrics. If only I could ask Mami how she came up with the words and music. The other songs are great as well.
On the whole, an impressive effort and to me overall this album is more consistent than STANDARD. And I *LOVE* STANDARD so this is really saying something.
When STANDARD came out last year, I wondered if the girls could live up to it with their newer releases. I shouldn't have worried because yes, yes they did live up to it.
9.5/10 would listen again. And again. And again.
I can't stop listening to this song! Timo really did well to come up with this gem, so proud of her. Also worth mentioning is Mami's awesome fills and little riffs all over the song from start to finish. And the solo is very nice as well
Lots of good stuff on this album, Kan Biiru, Image, Onegai Navigation, Graduation, Hon wo Yomu and love in action stands out for me at this moment. Hon wo Yomu in particular is a really clever song with a real hooky melody and nice lyrics. If only I could ask Mami how she came up with the words and music. The other songs are great as well.

Wow the album making bts video is just the kind of thing I want to see included with an album.. any album from any artist to be honest! I really hope someone subs it one fine day because insight into how they're making and thinking about their music is basically my number one most wanted thing.

Mine too. Is it not originally distorted? I am also using iTunes... I listened to the snippet in HMV, and the part 00:25-00:38 is distorted too.
