From the ladies' twitter messages yesterday, they were filming a new music video on the beach. They started at 6:00AM and didn't finish until after 9:00PM. It was apparently cold, too, based on their tweets.

The new album's limited edition version is supposed to have a DVD with three music videos on it, so I would have to assume that this will be one of them.

The ladies have tweeted that they're flying out on Thursday (their time) for the trip to Seattle.

A little more than 36 hours before Band-Maid's first international show date.

Also, tell them to come to Dragon Con in September. The deadline for performers to apply to play at the show is April 1. I've already sent the application website to their twitter feed twice.....

Looks like show was quite a blast. Makes me even more eager for May's MCM at London. Have to check if my P-chan t-shirt still fits - so I could explain why I wandered backstage - "I am Hibiki Ryoga and I am lost - can You point me in direction of Tendo-dojo?" ;D

According to the band's twitter account, there were around 3000 people for their concert.

The ladies have announced their first national level tour of Japan. Earlier this year they did a regional tour that I think went between Tokyo and Osaka, and parts between. It's going to last from June to October, so they're probably going to be playing all over the place.

I hope there's a show I can see when I go to Japan in August....

Actually I believe their national tour lasts until January 10

Another great song and filming on the beach is a good idea ! I didn't expect the pyro so it was really cool.

The ladie's new album just came out. It is their major label debut with Avex.

Day one they were #11 on Oricon.
Day two they were #14.
Currently at #22.

I don't think that's too bad for a band that is still primarily playing small club venues and such. Their performance at Sakura Con was their largest solo show, and the second largest venue they've played so far, I believe.

Be interesting to see where their first week total numbers come out to be. It's unfortunate that those numbers don't count the international sales, because I know from the Facebook fan groups that there were a lot of additional CD purchases just from people posting to the groups.

I met them a few weeks ago. They sound heavier than scandal so Band-Maid is a choice for times when you want to punch someone on the face.

The ladies are en route to London for the MCM Comic Con there.

Using some sleuthing skills, I'm pretty sure their flight will be landing on time; they're currently over Sweden/Norway (flying along the border). I'll feel happier when the flight has landed safely....

The UK is getting more and more into J-Pop I am happy to say, they will get a great welcome !
