Pearl Masters Series Premium Maple,her toms is 12"x10", and the floor toms is 16"x14"..Hope it helps.

I really do hope that Mami chose this Jazzmaster based on it's being a J Mascis model. Dinosaur Jr is absolutely one of my favorite bands and it certainly would be cool to know she is familiar with their music

After saw above picture from Rina's blog, now I can confirm how great Rina is on playing single pedal !! Oh, man, I've been searching for this close-up pic to confirm my curiosity since I heard Genkai Lovers.. I thought she modified her drums or might be using double pedal..

Replying to atamarashi on SCANDAL blog thread, I'd like to explain lil bit regarding this. Though I'm not a drummer, but I knew about it a liiiiil' bit. So, please correct me if i'm wrong..
Although we couldn't see the right foot pedal, but I could confirm that she's using single pedal. Usually, if using double pedal on single bass drum sets like the one Rina used, there'd be one more pedal next to the hi-hat pedal. This pedal connected to the bass drum by a single bar. See below pics..

Yup,on Genkai Lovers, she hit the bass drum with the pedal twice (bass drum1x-snare-bass drum2x -snare),but she hit it a lil bit faster and it sounds like double pedal. Maaan,she's fast!
And by the way, floor tom is placed on the right side of the drummer, like the toms but it's more bigger..

Sorry I took so long to reply, I understand a lot better on what you were saying about the single pedal now. Rina has been drumming quite well with just a single pedal, I can't wait to hear it live when the new album is released.

Ahh yeah, that's what the floor tom is, haha. I got the names mixed up for some reason.

Still speaking of Rina's drum kit, I wonder why the toms above her bass drum were changed to just one rather than the usual two that you'd see on a standard kit?

Well, I can't give you exact answer about that, hehe..Have to ask Rina, I guess..
As far as I know one of Rina's favorite drummer is Nao Kawakita of Maximum The Hormone..
Nao use one toms only on her drumset, which is maybe Rina copy that into her own set..The love of the drummers? ..Many factors that would made her do that, actually..Simplicity reasons, maybe?..v^_^

I think it's actually her silver Precision Bass, but before it was painted to her custom design. It has the same maple fretboard. I believe Mami also did a similar thing where she played her HSS Stratocaster, still unpainted, on the Best Scandal DVD.

@jigoku. thanks for the reply about rina's kit sorry for the late reply... by the way... rina is really good in single pedal.. she never used double pedal that's why i love her, her foot technique is really damn great.... about her kit, maybe she modified that because most of rock kit or jazz kit is like that

Well, you're not alone, I heard that auto-wah too..seems that her guitar tech has modified one of her stompbox/digital effect..I've search about it, and the auto-wah filter can be applied to her Nova delay. I read about that somewhere, I forgot though..hehe.
On their latest album, I also seems to heard a lil' pitchshifter effect on 'Koe' or maybe I'm wrong..
