Erm, the Gretsch White Falcon Relic that MAMI used costs 980,000 yen = USD 11.3k. It's a very limited edition that there's only have 20 in the world.

Actually, Mami didn't used Gretsch White Falcon Relic, she's only check out those guitar on Happy Music Show (2012-03-16). As you can see on below screen shot.

Mami used Gretsch White Falcon Double Cutaway G6136DC which cost around 509.250 yen.
But you're right, there's only 20 Gretsch White Falcon Relic available.

I used to play bass, and I don't really know why you'd need more than that as a bassist. It's probably good for her to be cutting down, it'll probably give her a purer sound.

This is Celine, RINA's new drum kit.

From her tweet (https://twitter.com/scandal_rina/status/314634009206472704), this one is from the Pearl Masters Premium Legend series (Angie, the pink drum kit is from the Pearl Masters Premium Maple series).

The bass drum is 22x16 inches i.e 2 inches smaller than Angie's bass drum (24x16).

Pearl Masters series, good (and expensive) stuff.

Kinda old news is kinda old but on the 9th of March, TIMO tweeted that she's been playing this Yamaha acoustic guitar, apparently simply named YAMAHA-tan. Not sure what model it is.

Let's hope she becomes good at it.

The two columns on Yamaha's page are divided by whether the guitars have rosewood or mahogany sides and backs, and you can't see that by the angle of her pic. So even knowing or seeing other distinguishing characteristics, you could only narrow it down without a different pic. I believe it is one of the "AC" models just from the shape, probably an AC3 because I don't know why she'd be pinching pennies buying a guitar.

The fact that it is an acoustic-electric, and a "concert" series guitar, has me wondering if there are some deeper plans for this guitar that she's hinting at by tweeting about it.

Interestingly, these are American-made, American-designed Yamahas.

Just found out. Nothing fancy. It's "just" Shure SM58. Probably the most used vocal microphone in the world.

Thanks for the info, I'm not very familiar with Yamaha products. The only thing I was sure about was this had to be a pretty pro quality guitar. It's not like she can't afford a good one, like you said.

I hope she gets good at it. It'll help her write more music and maybe someday we'll get a full acoustic set from them. Or a full acoustic recording, that'll be great too.

In the Nanka PV, Mami used her Fender -MAMI MODEL- strat (the one with the custom paint job)
