Kays. I asked my mom if I can come to her workplace on Thursday so she can drive me to pick up my passport after she's done working at 7PM and she said that she'll just come home and drive me back to the ACC near her workplace to pick up my passport. I won't be able to hang out with you guys though. xD It'll probably be around 7:30PM when we get there to pick up my passport.

Any plans/ideas on any meet ups during the convention? I'd gladly appreciate any company since I'll probably be on my own as my friends who are going are either going to other events that I don't really care much for or they refuse to buy a passport 'cause they're lame - > lines/concerts = me

I was thinking we meet at level one where it says Lobby Kiosk on the bottom, it seems like a decent sized area for all of us that are going to be there to meet up. Unless everyone wants to still meet at the food courts

How long will you guys be there? and at what time? I probably wont get to the con till around 8:30 or 9...but I'll still have to pick up my badge...

Oh yeah...I forgot to ask but when the AM2 website says "...private Meet & Greet event with the ever-popular all girl J-Rock band SCANDAL (July 4, 2011; 10:00 am-11:30 am; Tiffany Terrace at the Sheraton Park Hotel)."

The Sheraton Park Hotel's address is this right?

Edit: For those going to the SCANDAL Monday M&G, I emailed AM2 a while ago and asked them if we'll be allowed to have autographs signed since it says on their website that we're not allowed to ask for autographs at the M&Gs. AM2/Chase Wang emailed me back saying that pictures/autographs will be allowed at the Monday M&G "but ONLY for this one event because of the fact they are coming in late."

lol did you guys see the post on the AM2 forums saying they want everyone to stay seated during the concerts?

"Just to perfectly clear, all attendees are expected to stay in their seats during Main Events. Moshing will not be allowed, nor will approaching the stage. Socially acceptable reasons for standing are okay (eg need to leave for emergency reasons, standing ovation, etc), but in general we want people to stay in their seats. This is both out of consideration for the people behind you, as well as to help ensure that things don't get out of hand."Link

lol wow. Well, they can say that all they want, but I highly doubt anyone's going to listen to that, especially for SCANDAL's set. :P

There's some followup posts where they're saying staff won't be asking people to sit down, just checking for cameras.

Don't get me wrong, AM2 brought Scandal to the US and that's huge and I'm not complaining, but I get this constant vibe from their forums, or trying to get any information at all about submitted staff applications, that there's nobody "in charge" of the ship so to speak...

1. Honestly "Delta" does not know what he is talking about since he does not work for main events. Of course people will be allowed to stand and rock to the music.

2. Your application was reviewed and rejected because your entire application was basically about scandal and the departments you were interested in were mainly green room and main events. Any applicant where their entire application was written about a specific guest of honor or helping that guest of honor were automatically rejected. Having so-called "fanboys" and "fangirls" on a convention's guest team is not very good for the guest of honor or the convention itself.

Thanks for the feedback, USG. :) That's a perfectly reasonable policy IMO. I first wrote up my application going out of my way to not mention Scandal for that reason but it felt really dishonest so I just put it down as it is. I do honestly want to help the band in any way appropriate, and if that's to go and support them as a fan then I've certainly got no qualms about doing that. :)

Again, I'm not trying to bash AM2, just saying when staff "debate" policy on public forums, or I'm told by a couple different people my application has been forwarded to so-and-so and is being reviewed and I'll be contacted shortly, when it's actually been automatically rejected... it just comes across as chaotic.

^Yeah. One of the AM2 staff members said that Gackt will be there but since AM2 didn't make a contract with him, we won't know when exactly he'll be coming - he might just come at last minute.

We could try shopping around other exhibitors for other SCANDAL stuff. >=D

Will also be looking for SCANDAL merchandise. other than CDs and DVDs, I really want concert goods, Posters, Towels, T-shirts, Badges, you name IT!

btw, when we are there, will we be using Scandal Heaven's Facebook page for all the things going on at AM2 in real-time? Or will we be using some other facebook or twitter thing? Just wanted to know, cuz let's say someone find some SCANDAL items at a certain booth, or acquired some SCANDAL info, how do we share it among us?
I don't use Facebook much, especially for chatting. I never used Twitter, but I do have an account, to subscribe to SCANDAL's tweets.

Like jade said, please follow the SCANDAL HEAVEN twitter to get updates on when and where we might be during the convention. Obviously we'll try to plan some things here but once the con starts, all bets are off and it will be much easier to communicate that way.
