Haha, yeah.. no one can replace the original Nakaktsu. I'm probably only watching it for Maeda and Kashiwagi anyways..

I'm currently watching "Gakkou ja Oshierarenai". It's hillarious And sometimes touching.

I also can't wait for "Usagi Drop" with Matsuyama Kenichi. It should be nice movie..

Can I just say, I watched Ouran in RAW, and it's AWESOME!! Amazed how much 'Kawaguchi Haruna' resembles the Haruhi from the anime. All the characters are played quite well, the twins especially. Tamaki made me laugh the whole time haha

I never seen an episode of the anime but the movie is good.... Kimura Takuya as always gives a very convincing portrayal of his character. The CGI is also a big improvement considering the budget is low as compared to its American Sci Fi movie counterparts....

Japanese movie adaptations are really improving.... I remember the time I got traumatize watching the live action adaptation of Devilman years ago but now with the direction taken by Gantz, Beck, Kimi ni Todoke, 20th Century Boys, and Detroit Metal City the live action transition seems to be very promising

I'm currently watching HanaKimi, first japanese version. Well, the idea isn't original, but it still looks like a nice drama. Some moments really make me rofl ^ ^'

I loved that, it was either serious or completely ridiculous.

Nakatsu was so funny throughout the whole drama, I loved his one man dialogues where he thinks to himself. He's probably my favourite character from a drama! .clap.

Just started watching Soredemo, Ikite Yuku.
Only started airing a few weeks ago. Pretty good drama from what I've seen. It has different atmosphere from most of the dramas I've watched.

I've only seen the first episode. It's quite entertaining, obviously not as good as the original , but pretty decent.
The story of the first episode is different to the original, you'd probably have to watch it for yourself to have an opinion on it.
Also I'm no fan of AKB, so I only see Maeda as another actor. I prefer Horikita as Mizuki though ^.^

I know Nakamura Aoi, he is nice actor, but I really can't imagine him as Sano Izumi, so it should be interesting to see him in this role..

Well, I tried that 2011-version. I don't know what to say. Maybe, If I watched it BEFORE the original version, I'd have thought that it was a nice show. But in comparison I can't say such things. The story develops too irrationally. And the actors... Just as Jibba said, Horikita was much better as Mizuki, and played better. The same about many other actors. I also don't like how they changed the plot. In my opinion, the idea about "Mizuki tranfered because she is a fan of the jumper" is much worse than "because she felt guilty".
Maybe it's too roughly, but that's what I think after watching 2episodes.

I just recently finished watching "Boss" and "Nagareboshi." Both were great! Now I started watching Boss 2 and Buzzer Beat! I just hope I finish before school starts. Time to marathon through these two!
