I just finished watching Paradise Kiss live action movie!

I super duper love it, especially the ending compared to the anime/manga

I saw it on the plane from London to New York and the ending made me cry and my wife wanted to know why ?
I thought Keiko Kitagawa was really good as Yukari Hayasaka and Osamu Mukai was really good as George Koizumi.

I've just finished Nagareboshi and Akai Ito

And wah~
The first episode of Nagareboshi is very DRAMATIC!
Probably the best opening episode to a drama I've seen so far!
Very original storyline!

Akai Ito was really well made as well, the story line was also very original and touching

Friend recommended Rookies~ So that's the one I'm going to watch next ^.^

It was awesome. Definitely my favourite drama from 2011..great story/acting.

Wow i never knew that so many people knew about japanese dramas and movies since the korean sensation is just crazy .

Anyways here are a few that i think are good

1. Galileo (Shibashaki Kou is in it and it is a very funny series)
2. paradise kiss live action series ( Kitagawa keiko is in it as well as Mukai Osamu)
3. MR.BRAIN ( i haven't tried this yet but it's one of the top and ayase haruka is in it)
4. Dear friends (Again i haven't tried this yet but im planning to since Kei-chan ( kitagawa keiko) is in it)

5. Buzzer Beat ( To all YamaP fans and Kei-chan fans, this is a good one but i haven't watch it yet .)

6. One litter of tears ( THIS IS A MUST !!! very touching )
7. Yana yori dango ( im sure most of you tried this already )
8. Natsu no koi wa nijiro ( Matsumoto jun is in it . it's partly comedy and romance)

i'm currently watching soredemo too, it's really a show where they show the back end of things

we see people get murdered in show all the time but they never did show what happens to the families of the murdered and the murderer....so to me this show really opens up my views

I recently finished watching Nagareboshi. It was pretty good, thanks to whoever mentioned it in this thread. :D
Also, I watched the movie 'The Seaside Motel' last night. It wasn't that great.. but I've realised I rarely hate anything I watch so eh. It does have some funny moments though.

Next drama on my list will probably be Watashi ga renai dekinai riyuu and the movie Paradise Kiss. I've heard that people who watched/read the anime/manga for it were disappointed, but I've seen neither so I'll probably enjoy it :D

The very first drama series I've completed was Liar Game. Started off right and simple then things got a little trickier in the middle because of the rules of the newer games but I understood it after rewinding certain parts. All in all, a very great series but the movie lacked something tremendously for me. So,

Liar Game series gets a 9/10 from me

Really hoping that I will get to see more psychological Japanese drama in the future. But the reason why I watched this in the first place is because I have a huge crush on Erika Toda lol.
