^ well actually j-music artist have very good lyrics if we are talking about artist who write lyrics by them self for their own songs. idols have typical teenagers love story in their lyrics but some jpop and like all the jrock artist who write for themself lyrics are very good and deep. I'm happy scandal have this type of lyrics and the girls don't sing normal love songs who the most of japanese people like to hear (:

Description says they'll be showing it. How much of it or in what form remains to be seen, but I think we can be optimistic.

Yes you need to make an account to view live streams, but it's free.


So to summarize the time:
Friday, July 15th
7:20pm JST - opening (when the video box will show up on that page and you can have fun spamming comments).
7:30pm - show start time

For those stateside like me, that's 3:30am PST/ 6:30am EST.

If you absolutely can't watch it live, consider using nico live's timeshift so you can watch it later.

Or pray someone successfully records it.

man, the japanese music industry really knows how to milk every drop of money from their customers. exclusive B-sides on almost every single that you have to buy since they won't be on the full album, as many as 3 different editions of each of the singles and full albums, and even 4 different stickers included with each single only available at 4 different retailers. that equates to a couple of hundred dollars per album release. AND us overseas fans have to pay for crazy shipping and exchange rates on top of all that. i find it unaffordable to be a fan of just one band!

I recently bought the limited edition of "AKB ga Ippai" by AKB48 and with shipping it came to 7224yen, ouch !

Hey it works doesn't it? We still end up buying. The worst is when they have multiple Limited Editions with first press and store bonuses that just scream BUY ME NOW NOW NOW or you'll miss out!

But yeah SCANDAL fans have it relatively easy. Try being an AKB fan (10 singles in 10 weeks >.< ). It gets obscenely expensive very quickly.
