Theme：RINA

A 4-day-late birthday.

I think it's been about 5 years
Since I've celebrated it with my family.

I
Have been set on the band, band, band.
In the place where I only sleep.
I stayed out from morning until night.

To attend high school in Osaka
I would set out early in the morning, and I'd go straight to the studio after school.
Sometimes I would miss the last train and go to school directly.
On weekends and long vacations, the members and I would live in a training camp.

While chasing after my dream at 17
I moved to distant Tokyo by myself.

I realized that the time I spend with my family
Was only a small amount.
The time I could spend with them was a small amount.

I had many things that I wanted to say
It really was very lonely
There was no stop of doing the things I do
And I never received a NO.

Difficult things are always everlasting
But because there are people that supported me
Whatever happens beyond this, they'll still support me.

I absolutely want to be happy.

It was a night I swore it.

She doesn't want that everyone sees her brother/sister's face and she's right. I don't know why all stars like to show all their private life to their fans, but I think Rina did a good choice by choosing to hide a part of her private life. No matter who is her brother/sister, we have only to know Rina the drummer of SCANDAL, not Rina Suzuki.

The last one I've read that they're having a newborn baby was her sister!!..

Man... I don't know how to feel...

I feel bad cause SCANDAL doesn't get to see their family alot at all... and all for us... to make us feel good... I absolutely feel bad or even sick... I know I shouldn't feel this way but... they don't even have the time to spend with family this started when they were teens... balancing school and training camps for band... it really makes me be thankful for the amount of time I spend around my parents (well cause I'm still a teen...) and she gets next to no time with hers... I just wish we could just give her all the time to get with her awesome family...

I don't know what to say...

there is a price you pay for everything you get...

I think it is called dedication, you dont get famous by sitting at home with your family.
But even when she is relaxing with her family which is rare she remembers to hide their
faces to protect them, she is an amazing girl and so mature for her age.

I admire Rina for sacrificing a lot just to follow her awesome dreams. It is sad that she doesn't get to see her family that much. I know it's not good to think that her newborn brother may not become close to her as he grows because of Scandal's busy schedule but I know Rina can handle it. I just hope she gets more chance to visit her family.
