Hmm, I don't think I would be happy settling anywhere but there's a few places which I would be more happy with:

• If I stayed in the UK, I would have to live in London. I'm bored of my small rural town and London is the only city I like here.
  
• Like so many other people, I would love to live in Japan. Any of the big cities would be cool - I hear too many awesome things about them all to decide yet (maybe that will change when I've traveled there)
  
• And then an unpopular choice: Russia, or another post Soviet state (though a Russian-speaking country would be more convenient because I study the language). I just adore the cultures of that part of the world and can imagine myself feeling at home there. 
  

I don't really want to see specific things, I just want to experience the culture of these places for a long time. I've never lived in another country so the idea of a different everyday life is appealing. Now that I'm thinking about it there's too many places I want to experience life in!

I'm thinking of New Zealand or the Scandinavians. They seem peaceful places.

As a HUGE Asia lover, I'd want to settle down somewhere in Asia and I definitely want to spend a good amount of time in Japan, but there are reasons to why I'd rather settle down somewhere else like Thailand perhaps.
