I don't know if anybody cares, but I just saw SCANDAL live at Club Quattro in Osaka a few hours ago and Mami brought out her White Falcon. I don't remember what song it was used on though.

I was going through all of SCANDAL's songs trying to recall exactly what song Mami used the White Falcon on. It was SINKY-YORK. Although I didn't recall it at first because it wasn't one of their own songs, but I remember the distinct rift. Don't get mad if I'm wrong, it was an amazing night that seemed to pass by way too fast.

Well, they change the sound of the guitar.

Ha! I knew it! From the style of the song and playing and the sound of the guitar I could recognize the sound of the White Falcon, even though I've never heard it being played before. Awesome song btw.

In some concerts Mami's guitar like no sustain . When she hit the note it just don't sustain then the solo sound very rush . Maybe she should get a better compressor pedal to sustain the drive more or a better delay pedal to echo the notes abit longer but not too long or else will mess up the tempo of the song.

^ As for sustain,i'm using her Big Muff nau and i find that it gives tons and tons of sustain,perhaps she touched the string accidentally during the performance that you watched.

Haha ya maybe sometimes she too nervious also specially those big concerts . Maybe she could add abit of reverb to thicken her guitar sound also . Abit not too much .

awesome, Mami's got pretty much the same setup as me! except I'm a huge fan of the Ibanez Wah btw, does anyone know what thickness pick they use, I know it's a bit of a random question, but hey, why not.

@Shika: According to a link that I posted not too long ago, Mami uses 0.73 mm thick picks.

everyone makes mistakes and yeah, she does look nervous whenever its time for her solo, she'll stare at her fretboard as if she's concentrating real hard (esp for the newer songs). she's still awesome :D

I can't imagine her using the White Falcon for more than 1 song, imagine the weight on her shoulders D: try doing the Shoujo S dance using it hahaha.

hmm. . to be honest,i think Mami is better off with some mahogany bodied guitar and humbucker based guitar to give more body and bass to their sound,coz u know .nerd. sometimes when they perform live,all i heard is just (sorry .whistle. ) goddamn!! icepick/harsh/trebly tone from their guitar (MAMI and HARU),

i can imagine HARU using ESP Horizon 3,,and MAMI using Gibson Lespaul haha .balloon.

I don't think it's ever been mentioned, and I can only speculate that Mami's Stratocaster (white) may be an American Deluxe, or a variation of some kind due to the staggered/asymmetrical neck plate. It's also worth noting that Mami plays without her tremolo cover on. I can only assume she prefers three springs attached as that is what I can see. It's nothing major, but I thought some people might like to know.

just might be something that caught her attention or maybe a newly bought one. she doesnt say anything but "Yarararara to ~ ♪" hahaha. but honestly i would like to see mami use that one. it would definitely be in contrast with their new uniform.

I've seen her use it live twice. I wouldn't be surprised if she used it on a few songs on the TEMPTATION BOX tour. I guess we'll have to wait to see if it makes an appearance on the DVD.
