First, that's some good detective work there. I'm sure you're right about the model of guitar.

I do think it's Mami's, though. There's always a gap between Mami's and Haru's guitars in the rack, as there is here - I've never seen them store their guitars together. Also, Haruna only seems to be into humbuckers right now, according to what she says in GiGS. So I don't think she'd be playing a guitar with P-90's. She says she goes for a thick sound for rhythm and she seems to use a single pickup most of the time. Mami goes for more of a cutting sound. So I'm 99% sure it's Mami's guitar.

I hope you are right as I am so looking forward to see her using it.

And I have a feeling, if she does, the lucky lot that has tix to see them at the 「SCA wa mada」 tour in Japan this summer will get to see it first!

I have officially concluded that Mami's Fender Jazzmaster is a Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special Clap ^^
That's because The bridge is more closer to the Pick guard than the '62 Vintage is!

Can you point to a pic where you can definitively see that? The one on page 1 of the thread is too small and not at a good angle to confirm it. I consider myself pretty well schooled on Jazzmasters (and I own two), so I don't doubt that you are correct but I'd just like to see a better photo.

Umm little bit information and correction regarding the first post, SCANDAL did not use the FitEar Togo 334 as they're in ear monitor, because the Fitear togo 334 has a silicone tips in the end of the nozzle and its universal not custom, while all of the member's use custom in ear monitor which not using any silicone tips, they even custom remold the face plate of the custom in ear monitor (usually it is available in pro audio series which they can request custom molded face plate and cable (mainly its for japanese artist and pro audio engineer, even FitEar cannot give the base price of the pro audio series)). And I still hunting for the information regarding the CIEM. Well I noticed that Rina have another set of FitEar CIEM that she used for Budokan Performance.

about the faceplate :
Usual faceplate based on all FitEar monitor:

SCANDAL custom Faceplate (its flat (except rina which has custom artwork) and it still has the shape of the connector):

Comparison between FitEar ToGo!! 334 and the custom:

FitEar Connector:

Rina's First Custom Artwork Monitor used in Budokan:

Some Example of Custom FitEar:

Some Example of Universal FitEar:

I made this review so that we can differentiate whether the In Ear Monitor is a Universal or Custom. The point is that almost all professional artist use custom in ear monitor for their touring or mixing.

Just because its black colored, that doesn't mean its an FitEar ToGo!! 334 (Custom can get any color they want including black and etc.)

There's some information for this very important equipment, but it is in Japanese(please translate, thanks):
-http://6109.jp/scandal4/?blog=64274

And one more thing for the moderator, please update the first post (they're not using fitear togo334 instead their using custom set of fitear custom in ear monitor (probably FitEar Pro Audio or FitEar Monet series)). Thank you, hope this help

Nice One

Guys, I think the information regarding the Rina white kit need to be updated. I do not know japanese, but looking [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] it looks like the white kit measures are not the same reported in the first post.

And one suggestion that perhaps someone has already done: create a thread gear for each one of the girls.

I agree with this - it does get pretty chaotic having all of them in one thread. I actually think there should be a master sticky thread too (which can more or less just link to the individual threads, so as not to take up too much space at the top of the forum). I'm sure this is info a lot of people are searching for from the outside too.

I share your skepticism on a 16" ride. The article in the June ish of GIGS may contain a typo.

A possibility, no?

The photos put up by alrick is that of Celine, RINA's current setup, and we can see the Sabian AA ride she has a comparable diameter to the adjacent 18" AAX crash, and is at least a 20".

Yup, it seems so. Plus, there's no 16" ride cymbals on Sabian cymbals lists. And I'm very much agree with you, even if it's a custom ride, it's impossible to have 16" diameter. Well, I'll stick to 20" inch ride then..

I like the idea of having 1 gear thread for each member. Makes it MUCH nicer to for me to edit, add info, etc. ^_^
Master gear sticky (similar to the Information Index sticky in this Talk section) will be made too.
I'll start to work on it. And yes, I'll update Rina's drums with what jigoku79 recently provided.

A 16" ride would be strange...
But if it were a custom, Rina probably would have mentioned it on twitter or blog.

This is the wrong thread for your first question, but I think I can point you in the right direction - there is a thread for SH members wanting to talk about musical instruments called the MUSICIAN'S LOUNGE:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

You may start a topic by asking this question about customising your guitar - and hopefully members who have done such a project can point you in the right direction!

Or, go to this thread here, if you are good at DIY projects, as this thread shows you how one does one's own MAMI signature Strat as this SH member has done:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

But to quickly answer your question, the custom job can be done professionally (look it up on Google for a place that does this profesionally in your locality), or as a DIY project (see above).

As for your 2nd question: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
