From the Temptation Box Band Score gear page it is a "Fender PRECISION BASS TOMOMI MODEL".

At their KDDI Valentine's Day show, Mami used a Fender Jazzmaster during their playing of "Pride".
I'm not a much of a guitar person but judging by the appearance of the guitar and matching it with what fender.jp has for Jazzmasters, I'm guessing it's either the:
American Vintage '62 Jazzmaster® (Rosewood Fretboard, 3-Color Sunburst)
or the
Classic Player Jazzmaster® Special (Rosewood Fretboard, 3-Color Sunburst)

Taikimi? The guitar used in that PV is her usual black American Std Fat Strat.

I'm not sure if I missed any, but I think to this day Mami has at least 7^* guitars.

•White strat (AKA "Sticker Strat")

•Black custom strat(with the colorful paint job) - The one she's using now.

In that case, I think it's 6. I think that black strat in Shunkan and the majority of Best Scandal First Live is the same strat as the one with the custom paintjob before it got sent over to get painted.

As for that white fat strat in the picture, does that really belong to her? I've only ever seen that one once (Best Scandal First Live last song). I always had the impression that this one was a backup. Of course, I could be wrong... :-)

Actually i think most of the gtrs they r using r belongs to sony.
maybe some of them belong to them.
e.g. the Gretsch White Falcon (mami said its the most expensive stuff which she've bought.)

Okay, I've been thinking of replicating the finish on Mami's custom Strat and looked around for reference pictures and I thought I should share what I found in case it wasn't already on the thread.







From what I know it was done by a team called Radical Brats, and you can check it out on their site here. If anybody is interested in the project, I'll post it here or create another thread when I'm done.

Just to help with the update, I was looking some amps because I want to change my small micro cube (this small thing rocks :p but its small xD)
I found that mami uses JCM 2000 DSL 100w, the cab was:
-1960A (Mezamashi Live)
-1960B (SCANDAL FIRST LIVE -BEST★SCANDAL 2009)

I'v never seen mami playing with TSL on any concert, but I saw it on Nanka Buttobase PV, but maybe them put it there just to make publicity to marshall.

I'm not quite sure how to answer your question, are you referring to the tunings used in the songs? If so, which song are you referring to?

I mean the tuning they predominantly use. I dont think, they change the tuning for each song...

As far as I know at the moment, SCANDAL usually uses standard tuning (E A D G B E). However, from my observation, there are at least 3 songs (Pride, Cute & Roppongi Suicide) that are dropped half a step (Eb Ab C# F# Bb Eb). I'm almost certain about Pride and Cute but I could be wrong about Roppongi Suicide.

They use dropped tuning in "pride" and "cute", which are (as far as we know) their latest tracks. So maybe they are going to make this tuning their usual since then? It would be interesting...

She actually got that name from a suggestion from her Twitter. I think she just likes the sound of "Sabao" and decided that was the chosen one out of her cute randomness.
