Skill level/experience: i've been playing in a band as lead vocal about a year back in campus days then disbanded(got graduated). Also have performed several times in certain event. Starts singing since 2008 and playing guitar since 2009. i've never take part in any music class so i don't know about music sheet related stuff. never tried covering japanese song before but i think it can be done.

What will you be using to record the audio of your instrument?
For the bass I used Amplitube for the audio and my Ipod for the video.
For the guitar I used Voice Memos for the audio and my Ipod for the video.

Instrument/s: I can play guitar and bass.

I just gave a shot on making short Acapella version for LOVE recently. I did the Acoustic version of Koe too. Among SCANDAL members, I'm most comfortable at MAMI's vocal range, I can handle back vocal part as well. I do better at slower SCANDAL songs (LOVE, Switch, Chiisana Honoo, Hon wo Yomu) though I struggle a bit imitating HARUNA's vocal.

Just a little advice Tomoyachie. I'm not sure if that's what you meant when you said you were going to record yourself with your phone but recording audio with your phone probably won't be enough. If you sing in a cover band then you probably have a mic so the only thing you need is to buy a 2-3$ adapter to plug your mic into your PC's line in or microphone input and you're good to go. You could then use something free like Audacity to record yourself. You have a good voice. It'll be cool to see what you can do in a cover.

Hi there. Once a thread for a new project starts, you may then state what position you'd like.

I note that you will be using a Lenovo s90 for video recording which is great as it takes 1080p HD images at 30 frames per sec, but what will you be using to record your audio with please?

Just to add to what clem has written above, your Lenovo recording files will be in .mp4 format, but if you are able to record your voice in a higher quality format .aiff or .wav format that would be very helpful for the final band mix to get an overall good sound

Ohhh yeaaa sorry i forgot to answer thr audio part. Im planning to use my phone for video recording if ever but for audio , I have audacity in my laptop and yea Im also planning to buy a mic for recording purposes too ^_^

Anyways, I noticed the videos that you have done thus far - and my question is if you have access to better video recording equipment? It's not an absolute prerequisite to join future projects but we are currently striving to improve the quality of the SHCB projects and this include presenting the final product in HD, which is evident in the recent covers we completed of late.
