@NightSpeed: A one day passport will get you into the meet and greet sessions, however I must tell you that I have been told by those above me that we will give preference to 3-day passport holders and we have sold quite a few of those since Scandal's announcement.

Just curious will the tickets be "sold out"? I'm going to discuss with my family about going on this trip, pretty serious about it. Will probably decide by end of May, so I need more information, also any advice for lodging would be greatly helpful in my decision making.

How many will you be needing? Even if the tickets do "sell out" I will hold some for you ^_^

@ Nathaniel and all other members not from SoCal....The Anaheim Convention Center is basically right across the street from Disneyland so you should have no problem finding a hotel. I don't know what your family's budget is but remember that the AM2 is the same weekend as our Independance Day. It's Disneyland's busiest day of the year so you need to book soon and I'm sure the hotels in the area raise their prices for that weekend. But like shuy said, check the AM2 link for their affiliated hotels first. Good Luck! Hope to see you there!

My family isn't coming just discussing with them to see if anyone's willing to chip in a little for my trip but yeah I understand it's the 4th of July weekend.

Well, since I'm a super diagram nerd I went ahead and researched the Anaheim Convention Center areas using the maps on AM2's site to try to get an idea of what size venue we'll be expecting for the concerts.

Main Event Hall is in the 3rd Floor Ballroom, where the conerts will be (red outline).
Other events such as Maid Cafe are located on the 2nd Floor directly below the Main Event Hall (not pictured).
Exhibit Halls and Autograph areas are on the 1st Floor (green outline).


Here you can see approximately where the Main Event Hall is with relation to the actual building (it's behind the tower thing):


Here is 1/5th of the Ballroom (the right-most section to be exact), with a fake divider wall on the left. The Main Event Hall consists of all 5 Ballroom areas, so multiply this by 5. The stage would be in the direction that this photo is facing:


Another picture of a little more than half of the Ballroom area without any dividers. So you would multiply what you see here by 2. The stage would be along the wall in the top left of this picture:

Man, I wish they would have announced it at least two months sooner. Even a month's notice is still a short time to save T_T Gonna have to eat ramen for the rest of the month haha.
If I'm lucky I can stay with a friend in California because renting a hotel for a week would kill me.

geez, I'm always out of the loop and late for these things but I read everything since my last post up until right now... FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!

FYI to anyone out of state: For cheap flights, check with Jetblue or Virgin airlines... Their rates are relatively cheap if you book REAL early, but since it's 4th of July weekend and with security issues on high alert again, I'm sure you'll be fine... HA HA! but seriously, fly safe if you do... Check your city and compare prices that land in LAX or Long Beach, that's your best bet...

Thanks, but I'll still have to wait until like the end of the week or so to finalize the trip plan. Now it looks like we might be driving. It's day and a half to get there! (1900miles or about 28 hour drive) Driving is cheaper than flying too and with the money we save, we'll pick up the passports for sure. Plus we'll have the car so there's no time constraints when we are there and can get to places on time instead of on a slow bus or other method.

@shuythuyshuy my friend has recently paypal you the amount for the passports. do we need to print out anything, or do we just show up and state our names to pick up the badges? thanks!
