It's actually all in katakana, and it says "ヨロシク" (yoroshiku; best regards, etc.). It looks like it's a parody of the Yoshimura logo. It's kind of like how SCANDAL's gray hoodie last year seemed to be a parody of a Supreme one.

It seem they are not going for the Oktoberfest since they landed in Hamburg instead of Munich. Maybe they will go after their stay in Hamburg who knows? Just guessing.
Also judged by past experience, they won't post anything once they arrived destination for own vacation. Right?

You can see the name of the Inn in that picture and a German friend said he will phone the Inn and ask them, but I doubt they told the Inn Keeper what they are up to.

My guess is they are gonna be recording the MV for Koisuru Universe all around the world, hence the Universe in the single's name.

Officially, the band hasn't yet said the reason why they're there.

IMO, if they were there solely for vacation, they probably wouldn't post so much on social media about it. Based on past instances when they actually went on vacation, for privacy reasons they didn't post about where they went or what they did until after they got back (except for RINA, who documents her trips as they're happening). They did go to Hamburg last year on tour, so maybe they found a reason to go back there (music-related, perhaps?). But we'll just have to wait and see what the official word is.

Edit: They are there for something NOT vacation-related. They just posted this on their IG Story. Anyone recognize the logo?

Can't figure out why if it's the case, but it seems to me that's written "Nena". You know, the woman who sang 99 luftballons (99 Red Balloons in English iirc). e_e

Edit: I just stumbled upon a German article saying that Nena is actually recording a big event show with lots of guests to celebrate her 40 years of career ("The show will be recorded on Thursday, September 21, at the Mehr! -Theater in Hamburg.")... Coincidence? ._.

I am in the UK SCANDAL FB page and we have a theory of sorts based on pretty much what Jikan is saying. NENA is having a show recorded in Hamburg tomorrow with a host of artistes like Dave Stewart etc for broadcast in October, but on the official website, we couldn't see SCANDAL in the list. Also, this is the first time I've heard anything linking SCANDAL to NENA (unless someone tells me otherwise).

Anyways, we are having some fun speculating on FB atm. Let's hope the band says something tomorrow.

Mmmm Nena ( Gabriele Suzanne Kerner ) is 57 now and had her one English hit all the way back in 1984 and Haruna was only 4 then so I am surprised they even know of her !

But yes Namie Amuro is a true living legend and Avex have already announced they will be releasing a really huge hits collection which is bound to be a best seller.
