Seems like ballads will be this album's forte. Most of the more upbeat songs don't exactly make me look forward to this.

Out of the five new songs that we have yet to hear, I am looking forward to hear Mirror, as that one sounds most interesting, Kanojo wa Wave, simply to hear more lead vocals from Rina (although I have a feeling they did not exactly chose a good portion of the song into the trailer) and Prism (one of balladic songs). Tomomi's and Haruna's songs, however, will probably be among my least favorite songs, although One More Time will likely remain my least favorite on the album. Meanwhile, Ivory will likely remain my most favorite (disregarding Spice as a bonus track, obviously).

My presumptive ranking of the songs, based on snippets from the trailer (and songs we already know)

The online concert is a nice bonus. Assuming most of the songs they'll be performing will be from the new album which will be cool to see. I ordered my copy from CD Japan and hopefully it will arrive in time for me to register.

Also looking forward to seeing which two songs they'll be doing the MVs for. From listening to the album teaser it will be interesting to see how they'll be conveyed visually.

So, the online concert will be viewable until Feb 6th. Hopefully my CD will arrive before that date. As for the trailer, the album sounds too poppy, but I'll still give it a chance. The songs that piqued my interest were the title track and Rina's solo track.

It's viewable until then, but remember that you only have until February 4th, 6 pm JST to input your serial number on the signup site in order to receive the streaming URL via email.

Also, for everyone hoping that their order will arrive on time, I highly recommend ordering from CD Japan (the first four items listed) and going with DHL for shipping if it's available to you. They usually ship out orders a few days before a CD's release date so that your order arrives on the actual day of release or a day or so after. DHL seems to be the fastest option, at least if you're shipping to the US.

Based on the short snippets of the new songs in the trailer, I can say that this album in my opinion is the most predictable out of the others. Ever since I listened to Ivory and Eternal, I kinda feel like their next album will be like this. But it's them trying new things so I am on board with that regardless.

Still curious about how Track #7 sounds like in full.

Does it work in Europe? I mean countries where old albums have disappeared a near time ago.
In Russia, I don't see a new song on any services, and there is no pre-order in iTunes either (although it was for the KFTD album). I am already starting to worry perhaps the new album will not be available at all in my country on digital platforms.. MAMI crazed

Here is a map of the song's availability on Spotify. It seems to be available in every European country...except for Russia lol

Perhaps licensing on Spotify is different in Russia, or maybe the song's not able to go up until the album is out? Hopefully it's something like one of those.

As for iTunes, it's actually also not up for me in the US. The only place I can find it available to purchase here is Amazon.

Yeah, it's looking more and more likely that it hasn't been made available on iTunes/Apple Music outside of Japan yet. Their licensing distributor is doing a great job yet again...

Anyway, you can purchase it on FLAC from mora JP for 550 yen, which is actually pretty easy to do (I purchased it from there yesterday). Here's a guide on how to purchase from there.

The song "MIRROR" will be aired on the radio for the first time on Jan. 19th on J-WAVE's "STEP ONE" program, which airs from 9 am to 1 pm JST! Comments from the band will also be aired.

I feel like, the trailer didn't do justice to the new songs at all. Even when hearing MIRROR the first time as a snippet, I was OK with it as a title track. Did sound interesting but it didn't get me that excited. Now that I've heard the full version (which I was trying not to coz I wanted to wait for the full release but oh well lol), I really enjoy it! Have been listening to it on loop for quiet some time actually. Also loved "Ai ni naranakatta no sa". So easy on the ear, sounds like a healing ngl even tho the lyrics..
Now I'm mostly excited to hear Wave.

But yeah, I'm not gonna judge other songs as well, just based on the trailer.

Overall, I do enjoy their experiments a lot, not gonna say that I miss their old stuff, because to me, experimenting with so many different genres and trying out new things is a sign of growth of a band and I also think, they've not lost their own identity and style, they are just bending in different directions and I really appreciate and like it. I always look forward to the new releases.

Pre-ordered my CD today. hopefully I get it in time for the studio live.

I definitely dig this tune, which surprised me a bit since the opening sequence before the band kicks in reminded me too much of a cross between "Brand New Wave" and "Tsuki."

I can imagine this as the possible lead song in their set for their upcoming tour to support the new album.

I like the song MIRROR better than the Ai ni Naranakatta no sa. To me, it kinda sounds like a new song from One Ok Rock. Totally refreshing to hear.

MIRROR will sound even better live taking advantage of Rina's drums and all the "oh oh ohs", they could get rid of the BGs and just sing along with the audience.

The MV also looks good.

haha I'll get 4 copies and I think I'll just donate the extra codes on a LATAM SCANDAL FB group I belong to. In LATAM it can be super expensive to get these physical copies so that seems the right way to me

The music video for "Ai ni Naranakatta no sa" will premiere at midnight JST tonight, though apparently it's saying that as of right now it's blocked in a lot of countries worldwide (link)? Weird. ~~Hopefully that'll change.~~ The video's now out but it did not change. You'll need to use a VPN (like a Japan one) if you're in a country that it's not available in.
