Vampire Knight, Kaichou Wa Maid Sama, La Corda D'Oro, OHSHC etc.
Vampire Knight:Vampire Knight is a manga by Matsuri Hino of the fantasy genre that takes place in an alternate reality in which vampires and humans are in a constant state of conflict, except on the campus of cross academy where Headmaster Cross is trying to allow the two species to peacefully coexist. It i smost about a girl named Yuki, boy named Zero and another boy named Kaname-senpai.
Kaichou Wa Maid Sama: Once an all boys school, Seika High, a renowned school full of reckless and filthy students, has recently become a co-ed school. However, with the female population still remaining a minority even after the change over the recent years, Ayuzawa Misaki takes it into her own hands to reform the school and allow a chance for the girls to feel safer in the rough environment.
Training, studying and even becoming the first female student council president of the school, Misaki has gained a reputation, among the male students body as an uptight boy-hating demon dictator and as a shining hope for the teachers and fellow female students. However, despite her tough-as-nails appearance, she secretly works part-time at a maid cafe in order to support her family. Unfortunately, her secret is soon revealed when the somewhat impassive Usui Takumi, a popular boy at school, nonchalantly discovers her in a maid uniform after school.
La Corda D'Oro: Hino goes to a school that specialises in music and has two streams: the normal stream and the music stream, where the music students are regarded as the more elite. She was running late for her class one day when she saw a tiny fairy, who seemed really excited that she could see it. The next day, the entrants in the music competition, who are decided by the school, are announced. Hino's name appears on the list - except she doesn't play an instrument. The fairy gives her a magical violin that can be played by anyone. Reluctantly, she enters into the competition and is forced to deal with the prejudices of her peers.
OHSHC: Haruhi is a poor tomboyish student at a school for the ultra-wealthy, able to attend because of a scholarship, and unable to even afford a uniform. One day, she stumbles across the decidedly peculiar but very popular Ouran Host Club. She tries to leave, but accidentally breaks a vase, and unable to pay for it, she's told that she'll have to stay and do odd jobs. That is, until they decide she would be more valuable as a club member. Not realizing she's female due to her appearance, they fix her up and give her a male uniform. She's an instant hit, so they decide to have her keep up the charade even after they find out the truth. Haruhi, being average almost to a fault, doesn't know what to make of the unconventional activities of the Host Club (or of the even more unconventional members), but having little choice, she plays along. Before long, real bonds are formed, friends made, and Haruhi finds herself accepted in a way she could never have been otherwise in this affluent school.
All these exists in both anime series and mangas. But honestly I recommend you to read the mangas instead of watching it. Mostly because you get to know more by reading the manga and the sotry doesn't end so quickly and bad.

I've watched both Kaichou and Ouran, and I enjoyed both. (I haven't read the manga for either, since I'm more of an anime-type person!)

Re: Vampire Knight, Kaichou Wa Maid Sama, La Corda D'Oro, OHSHC etc.
I prefer manga than anime. I think manga is better than the anime
I have read vampire knight (I collect this manga), that's a cool manga, specially for Zero, he makes me so melting..
I also have read kaichou wa maid sama, the story is so funny. but I think that has a same characteristic with special A
La Corda D'Oro is one of manga that I read too. But I havent read it again since a few months ago
And I also like OHSHC. This manga is so funny. The funniest manga that I have ever read, I think. And this manga has already finished!! but I havent read it yet. I want read it, but I dont have time to do that
Oya, I also heard that the anime of OHSHC has finished too, but the end of the story is like unfinished yet

La Corda D'oro is great for people to get hyped up about classical music lol! I kinda gave up on Vampire Knight (even though I still want to finish it) despite being a huge vampire lover... But I don't really like to read manga ><
An anime to recommend: Nanoha if you're into magical girl serieses (then Yes! Precure 5 is very good too~)

I've watched Vampire Knight, Ouran and Kaichou wa maid sama and i got addicted to them ahaha
Ouran and Kaichou are both funny while Vampire Knight is a bit serious type~ but the story is good. It's better in the manga actually.

I've actually watched all of these. I am currently reading La Corda D'oro online and collecting the books for all of these.
For those of you that haven't watched or read any of these yet, I highly recommend them!

Re: Vampire Knight, Kaichou Wa Maid Sama, La Corda D'Oro, OHSHC etc.
I'm not a fan of shoujo series, actually, but I really like OHSHC -- it's kind of ... brainless fun. The reverse-harem-of-stereotypical-characters always make things interesting and the dynamics are electric at times and delicately poignant at others. I like that there's a balance between character development as well as humour -- I haven't taken a shot at reading the manga yet, but I might.
As for Vampire Knight. I have mixed feelings.

- Spoiler:
- The message up to the current arc was that girls should have courage to protect those they love -- Yuuki protects the school for the sake of the students and her father, and fights alongside those whom she loves, namely Kaname and Zero. But now, there's this whole idea that she gets to be selfish and live between the two because she will never be satisfied unless she has them both ... it's not a good message. It's romantic, sure, but this is my interpretation of it, I suppose. Yuuki fights, she wins, and then she is locked away in a castle, always waiting for her lover to return, all the while fighting the instincts within her and pining for someone else. Last I checked, she was reaching out and trying to find her own destiny, but the turn that it's taken seems to clash with the previous ideals that were raised within the school environment.
